Overview

The La Plata Volunteer Fire Department provides fire and emergency medical services to residents, businesses and visitors of the Charles County Area. They provide mutual aid to their neighboring departments and counties. They respond to all emergency situations including all aspects and measures related to the prevention, detection, control, and extinguishment of fires, hazardous material, and emergency medical responses.Located 30 miles south of Washington, D.C.
